The merger of University Graphics & Printing and UVM Mail Services into the
new Print & Mail Center is nearing completion. Throughout the summer our
space in Waterman have been undergoing repair and renovation. Now, the time
is near for it all to come together.

The relocation of the Print & Mail Center equipment and staff to 118
Waterman will begin at the end of this week (8/17/00). Timed to the
completion of various phases of construction, this move will occur in
stages. The relocation schedule is as follows:

8/19/00
The Mail Center will move from 104 University Heights to 118 Waterman. We
anticipate that the sorting, delivery, metering, shipping and bulk mail
operations will be fully functional on Monday, August 21.

Waterman occupants will continue to receive their mail in the mailboxes on
the third floor of Waterman (Information Office) until further notice.
Within a couple of weeks, mail boxes and keys will be assigned and mail
distribution will occur at the new Print & Mail Center in 118 Waterman.

8/21/00
The Print & Mail Center administrative, financial, customer service and
typesetting staff and postal window functions will move from 96 and 104
University Heights and be (pretty much) ready for business on Tuesday,
August 22.

We hope to avoid any disruption in operations, but ask your patience during
the initial relocation as we settle in. With a project this large there may
be some glitches and miscommunications, but we will do our best to ensure
the continuity of services to all of our customers.

We would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and
understanding over this summer as we have relocated and realigned ourselves
within the context of our new unit. We think you will be as excited as we
are by the level of service attainable by our new unit.

Watch your mail, as we will soon be scheduling an Open House to celebrate
the grand opening of UVM’s Print and Mail Center.
