UVM's Banner Student Information System (SIS) will be unavailable from
Wednesday, October 20, 1999,
from 5pm to midnight
while Banner PROD's version of the Oracle software is being upgraded.
This will affect all forms of access to the student information system:
[] Web access for the UVM Course Catalog.
This includes everything found by going to the UVM
home page and choosing "Academics".
[] Web access for course info, class lists, schedules,
policies.
This includes everything on the Registrar's web pages,
found by going to the UVM home page and choosing
"Offices and Services", then "Registrar's Office";
or by going to:
http://giraffe.uvm.edu/~rgweb/
[] Telnet or dial-in to giraffe for Banner SIS.
Touch-tone registration and Web course registration are not active at this
time in the semester.
