interdisciplinary hypotheses

Patrick- thanks for started the anticipated sections. I am not doing
a section on variables so it really isn't up to me, but brainstorming-
Rebecca brought it up before- seems we have panarchy to "tie it
together", but due to the breaking up of sections as a group project
the three fields of study are strongly separated.
Should we have a hypothesis specifically over the interdisciplinary
dynamics (ie- high ecological resiliency will be correlated with
strong social networking and a diverse local employment).
Or does Panarchy say it indirectly and that is just enough?
Or is it almost May and we just don't care because the sun is shining
and the computer just looks that much duller...

ah yes felix, I just bought a canoe and I'm done looking at this

I think it's a good idea too...
I also am thinking about deleting the list of hypotheses that I've
created for each stage. Not sure how useful they are/if they make any
sense.
That said, I might have to abandon work and lie on the beach for the
rest of the afternoon.

Hey guys,
I bought a road bike! Lee came on down to the swap and helped me test 'er out. She's a blue beaute, from the eighties, and was only $40! Wow. I kind of can't stop smiling.
Now that I've had a little time in the sun I can look over this monster for a bit while Patrick is canoeing, Romolini is basking, and Felix is shaking down to jazzfest. I like Felix's idea about actually joining disciplines within hypotheses (gasp!). Michele, you have a good point about our hypotheses as they are. It's strange Morgan asked for null hypotheses...that makes them all kinda lame. Still, I think this beast seems to be working out nicely.
I'm in my kitchen, Great Lakes Swimmers crooning, open windows...yum.
Enjoy the weather, and I'll holler in a bit.

My mom loves the flowchart.
11 is up. Mostly just formatting stuff... and I fixed up the
references a bit. For the hypotheses section, we need an economic null
hypothesis and we also need to decide what to do about listing the
hypotheses out by stage. I think we should do all or nothing, as the
social capital looks sad dangling out there all alone.

Ok folks - I added a Ho for the economics section and made a few
edits. I don't see a need for individual hypothesis.
Also, I noticed we use varying terms to describe the same:
revitalization, recovery, restoration.
Oh how the Sun both gives and takes my energy. A peaceful evening to
