X11R6.5.1, Solaris 7,,, anyone?

Has anyone tried to build R651 on Solaris 7?

Fresh Sol7 install here, using gcc 2.95.2...the make World
runs through without a problem but the resulting Xsun binary
will dump core on startup.

Does anyone have any experience with this release? Is it
dependant perhaps on some patches, etc?
