Hi,

I need to setup ntp. I have one machine running as the ntp server. This is
the only machine which I want to contact the external world and get the
updates. All the other machines on my network would be sync'd to this one.
Say host 'timeserver' is the one talking to the external ntpservers, and all
other hosts on my network, 'rome','london','paris', etc, need to look only
at 'timeserver' and update their time.

I would appreciate it if someone were to share their experience in setting
up the ntp in this kind of a setup. I have a mix of Solaris 2.5 and 2.6, if
that makes any difference.

I am interested specifically in knowing the tweaks required to the default
xntpd startup script, and the ntp.conf files.

TIA,

Nabeel
