TO All:

I am on an HPUX 9000/D250 running 11.0. Can someone tell me the steps to
increase /var??? I know I have to go into single user mode but I thought I
would need to manually mount /var to get the accessibility to all of the
commands. Any help is appreciated.

Sincerely
Roger Realsen

I guess that would depend on how your system is set up. Are the commands
in /var? I am run 10.2 and mine aren't. I was able to create a script that
when
run, would do a lvextend while it was mounted and then write a startup
script.

The startup script would umount the mount points and do an extendfs while it
was umounted. The only thing that stayed mounted was root. I believe most
of the commands you need are in /usr.
