Happy New Year Region 4!

 

We have about five weeks left to submit applications to the Foundation for Scholarships.  A reminder of what is available:

 

Undergraduate Scholarships are funded by donations by our collegians, alumnae and friends designated for such.  The named scholarship beneficiaries available to Region 4 are attached.

 

Additionally, the Foundation offers:

 

Friendship Fund Scholarships are funded by donations like the Undergraduate Scholarships and may benefit collegians, graduate students and alumnae.

 

Founder's Day Scholarships are funded by a campaign conducted by the Foundation which asks Fraternity and Foundation leaders to donate.

 

Your application makes you eligible for any of the above awards.  These scholarships are typically $1,000 to $1,500 per year.

 

A special scholarship only available to rising seniors is:

 

The Sign of the Arrow Melissa Scholarship. These scholarships (up to three are awarded each year) were established by the St. Louis Alumnae Club and is supported by the club's needlepoint shop, The Sign of the Arrow.  All proceeds from this store, and their online sales, go to charitable and philanthropic causes.  Up to three Sign of the Arrow Melissa Scholarships are awarded each and may exceed $7,500 each.  I'll be sending out a separate email regarding this scholarship.
