I have one concern... i have to work at 7pm that night! ugh.  so long princess shifts. 

 

However, I would like to share an event occurring the night before this superbowl shindig...and that is that the Legwarmers are coming back to the State Theater! http://www.thestatetheatre.com/events/upcoming_events.xml

 

If anyone is interested in going let me know.  If I go it'd be to the Saturday night show.  I've got tons of space at my apt so anyone who wants to come can crash here.

The single greatest sporting event in the history of the world is once again upon us and in celebration of such a momentous occasion, Annie and I are hosting our first ever Super Bowl party (first ever because we didn't know each other to host one last year, keep up people).

We are going to get a keg (probably stella again unless someone has another suggestion) and I'm making queso. This is one of those events where you may want to bring some alcohol and snacks. Also, you may want to bring a comfy lawn chair as well (we have couches, but other than that, we have hardwood floors). We'll arrange things much like we did at the ugly sweater party so that food is easily accessible and there will be lots of room to view the television.

Since Minnesota and Denver didn't make the playoffs, Annie and I have absolutely zero loyalties to any team who could possibly even make the Super Bowl, so if you're in that same kind of situation and/or your favorite part about the game is the commercials, then this is the place for you. We will eat and drink and spend the evening in the way that the advertising gods have intended, laughing our asses off.

Game day is Feb 6, 2011 and kickoff is approximately 6:25p.
