Hi everyone,

In case you haven't already seen the announcement on the UVA Facebook page, we're holding a bake sale for World Vegan Day this Thursday! Please check out the attached poster or see below for details.

World Vegan Day Bake Sale
Thursday, Nov. 1st
10 am - 4 pm (or until everything is sold)
Clearihue lobby @ UVic
All proceeds to be donated to the Peaceful Prairie Animal Sanctuary

According to the Facebook page, some of the goodies we can look forward to so far include:

• rum balls
• pumpkin spice cupcakes with nutmeg "cream cheese" frosting
• banana cupcakes with peanut butter frosting
• rice krispie treats
• and pumpkin almond oat cookies

Can't wait!

Bakers needed

We're still looking for bakers, so if you're able to whip something up this week and can drop it off at the table this Thursday morning please let us know. We understand how busy many of you are at this time in the semester, but would like to emphasize and acknowledge that you're baking for a great cause: every cookie, cupcake, and bar sold counts toward the goal of supporting an amazing organization working hard to directly benefit animals. If you do bake, it would be great if you could also bring a list of the ingredients you used.
