This Saturday, Nov. 6, at 3 pm, the UVA will be presenting "Peaceable Kingdom", a documentary by Tribe of Heart. It won an Ojai Film Festival award in 2005 (for "enriching the human spirit through film") as well as a Dances With Films audience award. This powerful film explores the relationship between humans and the animals we use for food and other purposes.
Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Please bring a coffee mug if you wish to have a warm beverage.
Our cozy home theatre can only accommodate 12 people at best. If you'd like to attend, please send an RSVP by email. We encourage you to bring guests - just let us know if you plan to.
