Three quick notes for this month. We hope your second week of school is going great!

Clubs Days

We've got ourselves booked for Clubs Days (Wed and Thu this week) and are ready to greet new students and new/old UVA members. Glenn and Niilo are going to sit at the table as much as they can, but we could use your help in making sure there's someone present at all times. Please contact us soon if you can stick around at the table for a while - or just drop by if you find yourself with some free time.

Our table is going to be spot #15. Keep an eye out for our big, fancy banner.

Pancake Brunch!

Yes, our most popular event is starting off the semester again. You should know the drill by now, but here are all the details.

When: Sat Sep 17, 10 am - 1 pm

Where: 930 Selkirk Ave

Who: Anyone who likes to eat pancakes

What: Sara and Niilo will be making as many of their famous pancakes as possible. We'll also have coffee and OJ -please bring your own mug!

Why: To kick off the semester, hang out, eat yummy pancakes, and to get to know one another. The event is completely free, but if you can spare any change for Justice and Francesca (our sponsored steer and chicken, respectively) we'd greatly appreciate it.

Please RSVP (uvaco...@gmail.com) if you know you are coming, or even if you think you'll be coming. We want to ensure that we are able to stuff each and every one of you full of pancakes. Allergies are also accommodated (e.g. gluten-free) - just let us know!

Veganism 101

On the evening of Wed, Sep 28, Chris and Niilo will be presenting Veganism 101: Introduction to Veganism. This is a great presentation for people interested in veganism, those who are new to the ethics behind veganism, and those who want to refine their ability to promote veganism. More details will be coming out soon.
