UUCA YAG invites you to Young Adult Circle and Potluck!
Potluck 6:30. Discussion 7:30 – 8:30. Conversation and questions
inspired "Awakening" Series Sermon given at the Unitarian Universalist
Church of Arlington on Sunday March 1st. The sermon will be available
through http://www.uucava.org/sermons/030109_How_to_be_good.htm and at
the meeting. We meet at UUCA the 3rd Monday of the month through May
with a potluck at 6:30 followed by deeper conversation on a specific
topic related to spiritual awakening from 7:30 - 8:30 PM. "Awakening"
Series Sermons are given at UUCA every 1st Sunday through May and are
available online at www.uucava.org/sermons.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington (UUCA) is located at
4444 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22204.

On Monday 3/16, we will discuss two or three of the following
questions (to be chosen by the group):
1. In what ways do you think you are good?
2. When do you feel like you are not good?
3. Are being good and doing good separate in your mind? Are they
connected? Does one lead to another?
4. What are the guests you are most reluctant to let into your human
guest house (Rumi)?
5. It is said that Adam and Eve had to leave the Garden of Eden
because they ate from the tree of knowledge, and saw the difference
between good and evil. What can get us back to the garden, to a
paradise of Beloved Community?
Eckhart Tolle talks about finding “inner space” in Chapter Eight of
his book The New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose. How do you
make sense of that?
