Congratulations on a spectacular founding assembly last night!
We set out to create an event would command recognition from public and private sector leaders, that would entice more congregations to join us, and that would energize our own membership for the transformational work ahead. On all counts it was a phenomenal success.
We had a terrific set of speakers, preachers, and testifiers at the podium last night, but the bottom line is that the event would not have succeeded if not for each of our core teams working turnout to pack the Masonic Auditorium with over 2000 people. Thanks to all of you for your leadership and hard work. Thank you also to the choirs at Olivet and Antioch, the usher team, and the parking team to who facilitated a smooth and orderly event packed with energy and uplift rather than chaos.
Our next steps are our issue action team meetings on June 21st and 23rd. There was a misprint on the agenda about the locations for these meetings, for which I take responsibility. I accidentally sent the wrong draft to the printer. The correct information is as follows:

It will take a week or longer for our staff to enter all of the data from the commitment cards into our e-mail list, so please circulate this to members of your congregation (and please let me know if you are able to volunteer to help out with some data entry).
