 To All Advocates: This brief has a personal impact upon my mother who is almost 90. She is not without the ability to understand and communicate reasonably, but fell victim to a large volume of requests for contributions and felt overwhelmed with the pressure of time deadlines. I am sharing our story in hopes that many of those in your families or members of your congregations can be protected from this attack on seniors' limited incomes. It is important that family members are vigilant and have frequent conversations about expenses.
