Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio
The Senate budget bill proposes to cut Housing Trust Fund revenues in half. The amendment would take effect July 1st. The state will have only half of the money it currently administers, dramatically reducing support for all organizations currently funded with Ohio Housing Trust Fund dollars.
Take action no later than Thursday June 27 by
1. Having your church or organization endorse the online petition to Governor Kasich calling on him to line item veto this measure:

2. Call your House and Senate members and ask them to support the House version of the Housing Trust Fund language – not the Senate version -- when the bill goes to the conference committee later this week. Contact Senator Oeslager’s Office and ask for his support on Conference Committee (614) 466-0626.
