Humane Lobby Day in Oregon - February 12, 2015

Rewarding, empowering, exciting and easy are words we often hear from folks who join us for this life-changing event.

What is Humane Lobby Day about and what can I expect?

• It's a one-day event where you'll have the chance to meet with your elected officials or their staff about animal protection issues you'd like to see progress on in 2015.

• There will be a training with tips for lobbying, plus a bill briefing. It doesn't matter if you're new to lobbying or unfamiliar with the issues—what's important is your presence.

• You will hear from elected leaders who are strong allies for the animals about the best way to communicate with your own state senators and representatives.

• Special guest speakers include State Representative David Gomberg and former State Senator Bruce Starr.

• Refreshments will be provided.
