Thought I'd pass these along in case members are interested:

Sunday, August 9th, 3 pm: All-African People's Revolutionary Party Picnic Benefit

                                          (in remembrance and honor of Michael Brown)

                                          Bush's Pasture Park on the south side of the park

                                          (by Leffelle Street, off High Street SE)

                                          They are asking for donations of school supplies

                                          (backpacks, writing utensils, note pads, and calculators)

                                          Food provided, but you may also bring food of your choice,

                                          a non-alcoholic beverage, or dessert to share.

Saturday, August 15th, 10 am - 5 pm: Capitol Pride

                                                        Riverfront Park

                                                        UUCS will have a table. If you are able and interested,

                                                        please let me know if you can staff the table for an hour

                                                        or so during the day. Also, if you have a canopy you

                                                        would be willing to loan us, send an email my way 

                                                        (chadi...@gmail.com).

Thursday, September 3rd, 6-8 pm: Anti-Racist Organizing

                                                   Main Branch Salem Library (Anderson Room)

                                                   At least 4 UUCS members were at the last meeting.
