Oppose ODA's dangerous canola rule

Hi,

I signed a petition to Katy Coba, Director, Department of Agriculture and Governor John Kitzhaber which says:

"The Willamette Valley is protected for a reason and tens of thousands of acres of canola can be grown elsewhere in the state. As the ODA regulation creating these control areas states, “Production of rapeseed for oil or seed is incompatible with production of crops of the same or related species grown for seed or vegetables.” The science has not changed. Do not shrink the existing protected area to allow any canola, GMO or otherwise into the Willamette Valley."
