1) Rick, please be sure to send me the names and emails from today's attendees so I can add them all to the UUCS_coffee_Hour listserv. When you send out the follow up you mentioned is fine.
2) I will research permit requirements for a rally to pressure Salem City Council to get with the program on climate destabilization at the "Eco-Ball" on Sept 21, and I will contact local climate activists to see if we can all jointly organize this Salem event to coordinate with the people's climate March in New York City the same day.
3) I will submit two things for the upcoming thursday board meeting:
A) the request to use the far corner of the social hall by the piano for permanent place for a lending library stand for social justice books and videos. We can put a nice tablecloth or batik fabric cloak over it when we're not using it for UUCS events.
b) A request for a listing of all the places that UUCS has funds invested, so we can begin the process of determining how much we're invested in fossil fuels and how to get out of them.
