This essay reminds me that what UUCS really ought to do (to make a contribution to the community and assume a larger and more meaningful role within it) is start a year round charter school for young people, a school built on demonstrating (never preaching about, but exemplifying) the UU principles, while offering a hybrid home school, online school, group inquiry process curriculum aimed at helping each child find and develop the gifts that make each one extraordinary.
