Respected Sir/Madam,

Greeting of the Day!

It is a matter of great pleasure that an Expert Lecture on Amateur HAM Radio Communication for Disaster Management is being organized by School of Computer Applications (SOCA), ITM University Gwalior (M.P) on Friday 27th March 2015. Mr. Jayant Bhide, National Coordinator for Disaster Communication in India (ARSI) R3 will give his expert lecture on the topic. You are cordially invited to attend the same.

About HAM

HAM is especially useful during national and local emergencies, as most ham radio operators have access to communications, where cell phones and the Internet no longer work. Shortwave communications allow for communication with other ham radio operators across the nation and around the world. Ham radio operators often search for like-minded individuals who share their particular interest with whom to communicate. The aim of the expert lecture on Amateur HAM Radio Communication is to increase awareness about Amateur HAM Radio signals, communications and operating procedure.
