Hello ACM Members!
MAA will be holding its first meeting of the spring semester this
Friday, February 13th at Noon in Keplinger Hall Room U3.
Our presenter, Dr. Roger Bey, has requested that we invite you all to
attend his presentation.
The agenda is as follows:
Pizza and Drinks
Short brainteaser problem
Listen to a lecture
Our lecture will be from professor bey from the finance deparment.
Generally, he will be speaking about specific opportunities in finance
for mathematicians.
In particular, Professor Bey's presentation will focus on three major
topics. One – career opportunities in finance; two – characteristics
of graduate business programs (MBA, Master's in Financial Engineering,
Masters in Financial Mathematics, and Master of Science in Finance);
and three – the MS in Finance and the dual degree MS in Finance and MS
in Applied Mathematics programs at the University of Tulsa including
the curriculum, admission standards, and financial aid (graduate
assistantships, fellowships, and corporate internships).
