Hello All,
Class schedules are out and the semester is quickly coming to an
end.  We will have a meeting next Wednesday, April 7, at noon in KEP
room U1 (free food and drinks will be provided). We will be going
through the CS course listings and hopefully help with enrollment
decisions and questions.  This will be especially useful to our
freshmen and sophomore members.
We will also be going over officer elections for next years ACM
officers that will take place at the final meeting of the semester.
Any nominations are now open via email and will be taken in person at
the next meeting.  ACM has six officer positions; President, VP,
Secretary, Treasurer, Speaker Chair and Social Chair.  You may
nominate anyone for any position, including yourself, via email or at
the upcoming meeting but previous to the final meeting.  Nominees will
be given a chance to say a few words before the vote and campaigning
is encouraged.  Any-one may also submit an absentee ballot PRIOR to
the election meeting.  Elected officials will take office as soon as
elections take place.  For more information on officer positions and
duties please visit http://orgs.utulsa.edu/acm/constitution.html.  The
duties of the Social Chair are not specified but they may involve
upkeep of the Org website (yes we have a website).

Current Officers
President - Greg Covington
Vice President - Matt Moyer
Secretary - Christen Brown
Treasurer - Joey McDonald
Speaker Chair - Austin Roberts

Our Freshmen Rep is Stephen Macke. A new Freshmen Rep will be elected
at this first meeting in the Fall.

The annual Tulsa Metro Job Fair is also on the 7th.  It will be held
in the Donald W. Reynolds Center from
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a complete listing of companies check out
http://www.utulsa.edu/student-life/career-services/metro-job-fair.aspx

Also it is a good time, if you haven't started already, to look for
summer internships and research opportunities (TURC).

Please email me your nominations and/or ANY questions you may have.
