           यद्यपि कुमाऊं या गढवाल के ग्रामीण इलाकों में अघोरी तांत्रिक नही मिलते हैं किन्तु इस लेखक ने एक बार नयार गंगा संगम - व्यासचट्टी  में

       बिखोत मेले में मानव खोपड़ी की सहायता से एक स्त्री की छाया पूजते देखा था .

       वैसे यह बात आम लोगों हेतु चौंकाने वाला है किन्तु हट्ठ योग या अघोर पंथियों के लिए  मानव खोपड़ी एक पूज्य वस्तु है और इस के पीछे  विज्ञानं भैरव का निम्न सिद्धांत काम करता है 

        कपालांतर्मनो  न्यस्य तिष्ठन्मीलितलोचन:

        क्रमेण  मनसो दाध्यार्त लक्षयेल्लक्ष्यमुत्तम  (विज्ञानं भैरव , ३४

   स्थिरता पुर्बक बैठकर , ऑंखें मूंदकर कपाल के आंतरिक भाग पर ध्यान केन्द्रित करो धीरी धीरे भैरव प्राप्ति हो जायेगी

    By fixing one's mind on the inner space of the skull and sitting motionless , with closed eyes , gradually by stablity of mind , one attains Bhairv

Why Should I /we be Shameful on Our Culture ?

Dear mr Bhatti

I am shocked you are commenting the reality as shameful . you did not oppose with logical means too

i am requesting all Garhwalis or Kumaunis who can say that there is /was not Mantra and Tantra culture in that area viz kumaun and Garhwal

Even if in today's instance, our culture does not fit with modern thinking that never means we should not know what the culture was

Kumaun never means where you belong it is also just border of Nepal or Garhwal and if such matters are there it is culture of Kumaun
 Secondly, i am not creator of these Mantras or Tantras but these exist there and I am just analyzing these literature and just as literature

No where i criticized or appreciated these Mantras or Tantras i am just showing what is /was there

Dear sir

You have wrong or mis conception that Kumaun was/is out of Nathpanthi Mantra and Tantra

I would like to refresh your knowledge about Mantra Tantra in Kumaun 

1- Gorilaa devta Gwill or Golu devta mantra /Jagar are Nathpanthi Mantra and for your kindest knowledge  Gorila devta's pooja initiated first in Kumaun and not in Garhwal
2- Dhamdev ki Ker mantra was initiated from kumaun as Dhamdev was Kaintura king and you should study Kumaun's history

3- I request you to read History of Kumaun written by Shri Badri datt pandey who provided many refrences of Gorakhnathi sects

4- read the book of Dr madan chandra Bhatt on Kumaun in uttarakhand ka itihas

5- Read the book of Dr K P nautiyal Archeology of Kumaun , Chaukhamba series varansi

6- Etikson - Religion in the Himalayas

7- Read abour rajula Malu sahi

8- Now i would like to quote  Dr Prayag Joshi in an article कुमाउनी  लोक वार्ताओं में गुरु गोरखनाथ और बारह बैरागी --------------
