Reloading the configuration

I'm currently in the process of configuring Utterly Voice for usage by a German speaker. Is there a way to reload the configuration while Utterly is running? Restarting it every time is slow due to the recognition model loading...

Hello Marcel,

There is currently no way to reload configuration files while the application is running, but this is a good idea for application improvement. We have added this to our task list for future upgrades. In the meantime, you can configure one of the online recognizers (Google Speech To Text, Deepgram), which do not load models, so they start up instantly.

Update: The latest version of Utterly Voice has a "reload settings" command that will reload all mode settings files while the application is running. More information here: https://utterlyvoice.com/help/customize#Apply_Settings_Changes
