I know this has been posted on the list serve before but this is getting some attention which is uplifting! This is great news as it allows for a public conversation and action on what healing the land in public spaces may look like. A great opportunity to promote permaculture and work on food forests in Austin. It is on the map and moving forward, good stuff.

A few of you have expressed interest (Ken, Elton, etc.) in discussing permaculture principals helping the homeless and the mobile loaves and fishes project. This is an event this week to provide a movie and Q&A forum for discussion by a well respected and highly productive non-profit. Their plan to build out a site in East Austin would be another great opportunity to design and build permaculture principals here in Austin, while addressing a major issue in the community.
