Hello:

I just joined. I bought a uTracer 3 (haha, I think) kit several months ago but have been too busy. It's on my list of things to start then finish.

I am interested in triode-wiring small pentodes and would like to be able to determine triode mu, I suppose at a specific operating point.

Has anyone else done that?

Thank you

I've done this many times. Just connect g2 to plate and leave the uTracer's screen terminal unconnected. Specify parameters for a triode test, and away you go. Might as well trace the triode curves too.
