List of Figure and List of Table line spacing

Dear all, 

I have noticed that the line spacing in List of Figure and List of Table does not follow the format of UTM thesis. For example.

No.                     Title                                                                                 Page         

1.1             Basic mechanism of adsorption: (a) bulk diffusion, (b) film 

                   

                  diffusion and (c) pore diffusion.                                                2

1.2            Safety standard                                                                         3 

Above is the result from current lyx template.

However, according to UTM format, it should be like this

No.               Title                                                                                     Page

1.1             Basic mechanism of adsorption: (a) bulk diffusion, (b) film 

                  diffusion and (c) pore diffusion.                                              2

1.2             Safety standard                                                                      3 

I have looked through the utmthesis.cls and tried to alter the code but with no success. Appreciate your help very much. Thanks

Hi Dominic,

It would take some amount of tinkering to get that corrected.  

A quick workaround is the use a shorter caption for the LoF and LoT..

\caption[short]{long}

I also planned to use shorter caption. Almost cracked my head to get the desired outcome. Thanks for your reply Yap.
