Clavier+ is terrific—but with Windows 10, for some reason, I couldn't get it to run automatically on log-in. I tried:

• Selecting the in-program "launch at Windows start-up" setting

• Adding a shortcut to it to the Startup folder

• Adding a startup task for it to Task Scheduler

Nothing worked, and no error messages appeared in Event Viewer.

I finally succeeded by selecting "Run with highest privileges" in the Task Scheduler task. Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone else ran into this problem. Cheers, A.

It's usually caused by a permissions issue specific to your configuration. Make sure to install Clavier+ in a location where Windows can start it without elevated permissions.

Running Clavier+ with admin privileges is very strongly discouraged because of the bad, open-ended security implications. Do it only if you're conscious of the risks!
