1) When your general meetings are for the semester

2) If you have any changes in your leadership team from last semester, send me the new contact emails and phone numbers (If your leadership team did not change, just email me back saying that it is the same). [Dental ignore this, thank you for doing this already!]

Next leadership meeting: Wed Feb 13, in BIO 301, 6pm

First GB social of the semester: To celebrate groundhog day..lol? Let's have a potluck picnic! It's supposed to be in the low 70s on Sat so it should be pretty nice! I'm thinking:

What: GB Potluck Picnic

Location: Pease Park (has 39 picnic tables, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and disc golf) 

Time: Sat (Feb 2) at noon

Email me back if you have a better idea/location/etc! I'll create the facebook invite for this Tuesday evening.

First GB fundraiser of the semester: Raffle! Architecture had a very successful raffle fundraiser last semester and have offered to do a similar event for all of GB this semester! I'm meeting with the E Board tomorrow and Michaela, so details on this fundraiser soon! 

Other info:

1) I am the guest speaker at the ALD PES Honor Society meeting this Wednesday. It should be a good opportunity to spread the word about GB! If you would like me to leave flyers about your specific chapter at the meeting, please contact me and get them to me before 6pm on Wed (1/30).

2) The process of adding our last two GB chapters is going along very well! We should officially have Global Human Rights Brigades and Global Environmental Brigades chapters at UT in the next few weeks! Then we will have all 9 chapters! I am so excited about how quickly our GB family is growing!! 

3) GB UT has been asked to host the Regional GB Conference again this year! This is the second time GB is putting on regional conferences and the second time UT will be hosting (2 for 2, oh yeah!) Orion (GB Director of Mobilization and in charge of regional conferences) has asked if we would try to host up in the DFW area instead of on our campus since the location is more central to other schools in our region. I am trying to work w/ UT Arlington to see if we can have the meeting  on their campus. The conference will most likely be in March. Many more details to follow! 

Lots of exciting things for GB this semester already, let's keep it going!
