Hello,

We have been using the UTG browser to deduce the allocation of
scaffolds on the medaka linkage groups (chromosomes). The older
version of the website allowed us to perform a keyword search using a
scaffold number. The site would then display all the data pertaining
to the particular scaffold, including the chromosome number this
scaffold was in.
Recently, the interface of the UTG browser has been apparently changed
and the keyword search menu is not on the main page anymore. Moreover,
the page at http://utgenome.org/UTGBMedaka/ does not really show any
chromosome annotations (unless they are somewhere else or hidden?).

Is it still possible to find which linkage group a particular scaffold
is linked to in medaka? And if so, what tools should one use to find
these data?

Thank you for your help in advance,

Sergey

Hi,

Thanks for using UTGB/Medaka.

Due to the machine trouble occurred the last week, we have to migrate
the older genome browser to a new one, but porting some tracks (e.g.,
linkage of scaffolds, genetic markers, etc.) is not yet finished.

We are working on fixing these problems, so please wait for a while...

Yours sincerely,
