"If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which
could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight
modifications, my theory would absolutely break down." - Charles
Darwin from The Origin of Species,Ch. 6.

In that quote, Darwin stated the fact that is now widely known - his
theory has been disproved by now known scientific facts. Actually, the
theory of evolution has been in question since it was first told,
written down and published. With the discovery in the 1950's of the
DNA molecule - with its complex, double helix of information - we
discovered a part of the cell that had to be there, in its complexity,
from the beginning - otherwise the cell simply could not do its work.
Darwin, by his own admission a scientist with a "stone heart," never
attempted to explain the origin of life, saying "The mystery of the
beginning of all things is insoluble by us; and I for one must be
content to remain an agnostic."

Darwin's theories and writings cannot account for the design inherent
in the complexities of the cell that modern microscopes and nanotech
studies have revealed. The complex engineering design in the
machine-like structures at work in the cells of the human body is
essential to the proper functioning of those cells. And, that makes it
necessary for the complexity to be there from the beginning. When we
are born, those of us who are so blessed, have a working heart pumping
blood throughout the body, lungs with which to breath, eyes with which
to see, complex circulatory, respiratory, nervous, skeletal, muscular,
digestive and endocrine systems and a very complex brain controlling
all these organs and systems and many more. There are many cells in
the human body that are extremely complex and could not have "evolved"
from a simple cell. Again, Darwin himself said, "To suppose that the
eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to
different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for
the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been
formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the
highest degree."
The complexity of design had to be there from the start, otherwise
those cells would be non-functional.

Ben Stein leads us on an very interesting and intelligent journey in
the film Expelled.
The evidence presented in this film clearly shows that although good
science supports intelligent design, advocates of the position are
automatically labeled as creationists and ostracised by the
diminishing segment of the scientific community which supports the
crumbling Darwinian theory of evolution.
Why? Because the Darwinists wish to hold onto an unsupported and
antiquated philosophy that all life evolved from a single, simple cell
according to natural selection. Why? Because they do not want to bow
the knee to God and submit themselves to His will. Instead of
admitting that they were wrong, many "scientists" have gone on the
attack - and they are not attacking the discoveries of Watson and
Crick, the development of the microscope or nanotechnology. They are
attacking the proponents of creation and intelligent design -
including Christians and Christianity itself - calling them ignorant
and evil. They have turned the tables - saying that those who do not
accept Darwinism are ignorant and evil. Interestingly, they don't seem
particularly interested in attacking Judaism even though the book of
Genesis is the first book of the Torah in the Tanakh or Old Testament
- probably because reformed Judaism has traveled so far from the Bible
that this issue may be of concern to only a small remnant of religious
Jews. Many Jews are politically liberal, non-religious or even
anti-religion. It's interesting that the most vocal and spiteful
spokesmen for the evolutionary cause are atheists - writing books and
debating the opposition whenever possible in as public a forum as
possible. Because they can't attack the sound science backing
creationism and intelligent design, they have chosen to attack the
messengers. In reality, it is ignorant to ignore the truth found in
the revealed Word of God which reveals the creation, to ignore the
scientific facts that prove intelligent design and it is evil to
reject God, to deny the truth and to seek to destroy those who believe
in God. Some are so desperate to keep the evolutionary lie alive that
they have developed a very evil strategy - to eliminate the truth of
God from society along with those who speak and write it. In their
darkness and ignorance, they propose that an atheistic/humanistic
world view will be safe in a world without religion in general and
without Christianity in specific. Then, they can get on with the
primary task of indoctrinating the entire world with the propaganda of
natural selection. It is part of a world view that seeks to destroy
and eliminate the opposition and to establish an oppressive,
totalitarian world government. Part of the plan is to make all belief
systems bow before the will of the state. Such a system necessarily
denies the God of the Bible and the validity of any religious system
other than a state-imposed religion of science approved by the
government.

Evolution, specifically, cross-species evolution, the pseudo-science
that many believe is true due to propaganda from some of the
scientific community, the media, the educational establishment and the
great unwashed, uninformed and, sometimes, uniformed, is without
factual basis or proof - a sham - according to many learned
scientists, scholars, educators and clergymen. Please, research the
science on both sides of the issue. These pages do not pretend to be
an exhaustive scientific textbook approach to the debate. Just because
evolutionists say it is so doesn't make it so. Discover where the
true, best science is and what the facts support. There are
creationists who are Christians and some who are not. There are
Christians who are also scientists who believe in a young earth and
others who support the theories of a very old universe. Those who
favor the young earth theory generally believe in the six literal days
of creation in the book of Genesis. Sometimes, the old earth
scientists concede that the days mentioned in Genesis could have been
longer than a 24-hour day. There is strong order in the Genesis
creation - certain things had to happen before others could. How could
God have created plants and vegetation on the third day and not have
created the sun until the fourth day if these days were eons of time?
The problem of plants and vegetation surviving for millions or
billions of years without the sun is obvious. The evidence seems to
support a young earth. Any other conclusion raises disturbing
questions. The fact is that none of us were there when it happened.
All we can do is speculate. Either we believe in the Creator God and
the sound Biblical account or we choose to accept the questionable and
sometimes unsound science of multiple theories of how it all began and
how we got to where we are today. Always remember that the position we
take on an issue depends on our world view - what we assume and
believe about the universe and everything that is in it. Those who
have a world view without God have to work harder and often fail to
come up with adequate explanations for the why and how questions. The
saddest thing is that a majority of people don't ask the deep
questions - they simply choose to believe what they are told by those
who are presented as experts and authority figures. That goes for
Christians who don't read the Bible and rely on Bible teachers to do
their thinking for them. God has given us His word and the revelation
of His created universe for us to explore. David wrote in Psalms 19:1
- The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his
handiwork.

The suggestion that man evolved from apes and lower forms of life is
considered to be a giant, conspiratorial, satanic plot by many
faithful, Bible-believing Christians. And to many creationists and
advocates of intelligent design - it's bad science. Aided and abetted
by money and by many, the evolutionary theories are told and sold over
and over again in movies, tv shows, textbooks, fiction and non-fiction
books, videos, DVDs, CDs - the entire resources of the media empires.
And how about all the merchandise that was sold in that particular
cause - clothing, lunch boxes, mugs, old and new museum tickets - the
list goes on almost endlessly. One of the greatest propaganda wars was
the one waged for a new generation of converts. It was waged using all
the above media and more. It was the story of how young minds were
shaped to believe in the fairy tale theories of evolution as seen
through the lives of dinosaurs. It was a highly successful war for
those who support the theory of evolution. It didn't seem to matter
how little actual fact or evidence was presented - the impact of the
movie theater experience can make all seen and heard there appear to
be true. A major reason to continue to sell the theory of evolution is
the attempt to destroy any and all belief and faith in God and
Christianity in particular. By eliminating the influence of
traditional morality and paving the way for a totally secular,
humanistic and atheistic society, the masses of people can be
controlled according to the goals of the ruling class - the super rich
international banking cartels, investment banks and their hired
servants which include world government and corporate leaders,
scientists, the media, public educators and many others.
Why would they do such a thing? If you can indoctrinate children (and
adults) into believing that there is no God and no need for God, you
can replace that inner need to have faith in their Creator with a
fairy tale - a carefully constructed and frequently revised story that
the entire universe evolved from the matter of the cosmos that settled
after the big bang. If you eliminate God, then individuals are totally
free to do and believe anything we choose. Actually, God is the author
of freedom and free will - it has been in His plan from the beginning.
Remember how Satan seduced Eve and she seduced Adam into disobeying
God by learning about both good and evil? God didn't have to give them
a choice - but He did. Satan tempted Eve with the suggestion that both
she and Adam would be like God if they only ate of the fruit of the
tree of knowledge of good and evil. But the intention of the serpent
in the garden of Eden was not to free but to enslave. Men and women
have been willing and unwilling slaves to sin and the evil effects of
rebellion against God ever since. If man evolved from monkeys and
other animals, then, it follows, that we are animals and will act
accordingly - survival of the fittest, only the strong survive, etc.
In this fallen world, that reasoning has too often proven to be true.

When there is no standard set by a Holy, sinless God for people to
live up to, the standard can be set by men and women who have their
own evil world view and agenda to pursue. Namely, enslaving the entire
population of the world under a socialist-communist-fascist world
governments in which the population might be drastically reduced
through oppressive governments, inadequate resources or health care,
war, famine, pestilence and other man-made disasters. Make no mistake
about the lie that any government based on Marxism is benevolent.
Lenin and Stalin took the principles in the communist manifesto to
extremes and millions died. Millions live under socialist governments
where they have lost personal freedoms and pay very high taxes to the
central government for services that they used to get for less at a
much higher quality. Adolf Hitler was a student of Darwinism and
eugenics and approved the application of the theories of natural
selection and population control through fascist policies and
experiments that led to mutilation and death for many. There is no
freedom where tyrants rule from an all-powerful central government.
With controlling forces attempting to shape a global society
predicated on fierce competition for resources, greed and lust for
power/wealth/sex and whatever else, there sometimes seems to be little
room left for love, charity, kindness, unselfishness and everything
else that is good. But that is only an illusion.

The facts, and please research them, prove that most evolutionary
models are figments from the imagination of the scientists who
discovered one or two fossil remnants and then constructed an entire
skeleton from them. Piltdown Man was a hoax perpetrated by a student
on his professor and then used to bolster evolutionary theory;
Nebraska man, an evolutionary hoax constructed from a single, extinct
ape tooth, was used as evidence in the Scopes trial and was made
famous in the evolutionary propaganda film, "Inherit the Wind." The
legend of "Neanderthal man" is said to have been based on the remains
of an elderly, arthritic Frenchman.
The same modus operandi of theoretical creativity is in effect for the
"discoveries" of the remains of many other species - notably, the
dinosaur. This is not to say that dinosaurs did not exist and leave
traces in the fossil record - but that the exact "scientific"
descriptions and explanations for some of them tend to be based on
evidence comparable to that for ancient man - scant to non-existent.
But, once you have an entire generation mesmerized and indoctrinated
with the Hollywood movie version of reality, you can make them believe
almost anything you want - for a while.
If Darwinian evolution is totally true and accurate, why does the
scientific community that propagates it continually revise it every
time there is a new "discovery?" New scientific discoveries often tend
to negate the theory of evolution instead of supporting it. In order
to prop it up, new arguments and defenses have to be manufactured.
Many flights of scientific fantasy are on display in films and
television progaganda. Often public broadcasting and other cable and
satellite pay channels present costly, polished documentaries
suggesting that a particular theory is fact. This is the nature of
atheistic science which has taken on the form of a religion. There are
many who have faith that science can and will explain everything about
the universe. The truth is that although science has verified many
laws of nature (that were set and are kept in motion by God) there are
many more things that it cannot explain. In order to keep "science" as
the religion of the God-less, "scientists" must invent theories to
explain what cannot be explained in the absence of a creator God - one
who controls the universe even to the point of being able to suspend
the laws of nature when it fits His divine purposes. The facts about
the Creation were presented once - in Genesis - and are confirmed
throughout the Bible and in the universe around us. There is no need
to continually tinker with obvious facts in order to make them
plausible or more acceptable to those who do or don't think
critically. Unfortunately, much of the world population has been
trained not to think but to accept as fact the propaganda that they
get through the educational system and the media. In this advanced
state of gullibility, the general public will accept lies as truth
without bothering to research the facts for themselves. Anyone who can
look at the great natural beauty of the world or up into the night sky
filled with stars and say that it's all just random chance is clearly
not thinking at all. Those who take a close look at the reason and the
good science behind it all find that there is very clear evidence of
design and purpose.

In 1997, Nature, a British scientific journal, published a poll that
forty-percent of the scientists asked believed in a personal creator
God who answers prayer. They also believed in intelligent design - a
scientific term for an ordered universe with clear, demonstrable
evidence of meaningful design at all levels from the largest body in
the known universe to the single cell itself and beyond to the
smallest observable particle.
The Cambrian explosion, clearly represented in the fossil record,
shows a sudden leap from simple to complex organisms. For Darwin's
theory to be accurate, there should be a gradually evolving fossil
record over time from simple to complex. The evidence doesn't support
the theory because the missing links, proving evolution from simple to
complex, do not exist in the fossil record. Here are a number of
quotes from notable scientists, interested and informed observers of
the scientific community, world leaders and others about the theory of
evolution.

On November 24, 1859, after reading The Origin of Species for the
first time, Adam Sedgwick, a spiritually discerning friend of Charles
Darwin, wrote to him:

"We are point blank at issue -- There is a moral or metaphysical part
of nature as well as a physical. A man who denies this is deep in the
mire of folly. Tis the crown & glory of organic science that it does
thro' final cause, link material to moral. You have ignored this link;
&, if I do not mistake your meaning, you have done your best . . . to
break it. Were it possible (which God thank it is not) to break it,
humanity in my mind would suffer a damage that might brutalize it -- &
sink the human race into a lower grade of degradation than any into
which it has fallen since its written records tell us of its history."

"Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it only because the
only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable."

"The German fuhrer . . . consciously sought to make the practice of
Germany conform to the theory of evolution."

Sir Arthur Keith, British evolutionist

"The reason we scientists all jumped at The Origin of Species was
because the idea of God interfered with our sexual mores."

"It is clear that the doctrine of evolution is directly antagonistic
to that of Creation . . . Evolution, if consistently accepted, makes
it impossible to believe the Bible."

Sir Julian Huxley, British scientist, first director of UNESCO,
grandson of Thomas Henry Huxley (known as Darwin's bulldog due to his
tenacious defense of Darwin's propositions, wrote of a "Great Chain of
Being" with black Africans at the bottom and white Europeans at the
top,) brother of Aldous Huxley (author of Brave New World) and a
leading proponent of evolution prior to his passing in 1975

"[The theory of evolution] is one of the strangest phenomena of
humanity; it is utterly destitute of proof."

"The pathetic thing is that we have scientists who are trying to prove
evolution which no scientist can ever prove."

molded to fit preferred conclusions."

"The publicity that accompanies every new find of fossil human remains
might give the impression that by now paleontologists have a great
wealth of bones to study. Not a bit of it. The known fossils of man's
ancestors would all fit on a good-sized dining table, and a couple of
shoeboxes would accommodate all the teeth. On this slender evidence
the paleoanthropologists have built their theories."

John Gribbin and Jeremy Cherfas, evolutionist science writers and
authors of The Monkey Puzzle

"Christianity makes no distinction of race or of color; it seeks to
break down all racial barriers. In this respect the hand of
Christianity is against that of Nature, for are not the races of
mankind the evolutionary harvest which Nature has toiled through long
ages to produce? May we not say, then, that Christianity is
anti-evolutionary in its aim?"

Ernst Haeckel, German evolutionist and scientific advisor to Nazi

In Adolf Hitler's book, Mein Kampf, Darwin's theory of "the struggle
for existence" is often mentioned along with examples from the animal
kingdom to advocate the survival of the fittest and the elimination of
the unfit to further social progress - "a higher race subjects to
itself a lower race . . . a right which we see in nature and which can
be regarded as the sole conceivable right (founded in) science."

Here's an example of evolutionary propaganda from 2010: The Year We
Make Contact. The film continues the satanic, pro-evolutionary
psychological programming from its predecessor, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Both of these MGM films were based on a short story, The Sentinel, by
Arthur C. Clarke who became a Zen Buddhist and retired to Sri Lanka.
(In the interest of accuracy, please remember that entertainment is
often intertwined with propaganda.)

In "2010," the opening statement from the character of astronaut David
Bowman is a reprise or repetition of a statement made near the end of
"2001." The phrase, repeated 4 times in succession later in "2010", is
purposefully repeated a total of 5 times in the film to lodge it in
the mind of the viewer/listener. The number 5 also has the
significance of associating it with the satanic. What is the
statement? An affirmation of Carl Sagan's worship of the cosmos . . .
"my god, it's full of stars." (This exclamation in itself is a
violation of the commandment against taking God's name in vain as is
the flippant exclamation of "oh, my ___" that is heard so often from
the mouths of the ignorant, the thoughtless and from TV and film
characters.) Character Bowman is talking about the "monolith," which
in these films represents an alien intelligence that travels the
universe, seeding new life on other planets by providing the missing
link - a spark of intelligence that enables animals to evolve into
men. But there is something more - what is full of stars? The universe
or the cosmos. The hidden meaning advocates worship of the cosmos, a
pagan religion that affirms the theory of evolution, an often
arrogantly perpetrated lie that suggests all things begin and evolve,
randomly and naturally, from the matter of the universe.

Many scientists who once were atheists or agnostics have come to
accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Others, who have not
traveled as far toward God have acknowledged that there has to be some
divine force or principle behind the creation and continuing operation
of the universe. Why? Because after all their searching, they came to
the realization that the enormously complex design and function of
this universe was set in motion by a divine force that continues to
guide it. This scientific approach is sometimes referred to as
intelligent design. With all the knowledge gained in recent years
using supercomputers and the Hubble Telescope, the theory that
everything is due to happenstance, in the form of a series of
unrelated cosmic accidents, is becoming ever more implausible.

Charles Darwin, in his biological theory of the evolution of species,
proposed that the development of species occurred gradually, over long
periods of time according to random chance and natural selection. This
theory took root in other sciences as well. In geology,
uniformitarianism became the dominant theory in explaining the history
of the earth instead of a belief that cataclysmic, catastrophic events
occur from time to time that violently shake the geological status
quo. This change in thinking was partially a result of the industrial
revolution in the late 1800's. As England entered this new, mechanized
era, the rise of capitalism and spiritualism led many to question the
Bible and the God of the Bible as the author and creator of all
things. Scientific research, theory and discovery was the humanistic
replacement for the faith of our fathers. But since science has no
room for that which cannot be materially proven, it has no place for
God, and is therefore faulty as a belief system in which to place our
trust. Science makes no attempt to deal with the things of the spirit,
the very core of man's being.

Scientists who believe in evolution claim that intermediary fossils
have been found to support evolutionary development within a species.
But where are the the intermediary fossils that provide common
ancestors and support the evolution of man? Those who advocate that
man evolved from the "primordial slime" have no scientific evidence.
Their belief is based on faith in evolution, not science. There is
also doubt about the age of the earth as determined by carbon dating
and other "scientific" methods. Some scientists suggest that mud and
salts from rivers run off too fast for the earth to be very old. The
earth would be much more severely eroded and the minerals leached from
the soil if the earth was as old as many evolutionists say it is. Some
say the decay of energy in earth's magnetic field places the age of
earth around 10,000 years. Some believe that the universe is billions
of years old - much older than the earth - and that the earth may have
existed in a form prior to its current "renewal." They claim that
statements made in the book of Genesis talk about a pre-Adamic race of
giants that existed after the fall of Satan and the fallen angels from
heaven - before the earth was renewed for the creation of mankind.
Many scientists that are Christians and many non-Christian scientists
have accepted the necessity of a Divine hand to keep the physical
universe in motion and balance. Some believe this "unmoved mover" is
not concerned with the daily affairs of men. Deists believe this. But,
it is dodging the issue to say that God exists to set and keep the
universe in motion, but that He is not interested in what we do, so,
we can do whatever we want. This is just a way of rationalizing sin
and evil behavior

The undeniable proofs that verify the existence of catastrophic events
in the past history of our universe have led some scientists to accept
the fact that catastrophism must be recognized in the shaping of our
world and our universe. Although the fossil and geological records
clearly support the Genesisflood, a long history of global seismic and
volcanic activity and meteors striking the earth, some still refuse to
believe, hoping to find a way to fit the reality of the universe into
their "theory" of understanding it. But, it is much easier to accept
the truth than to force the facts to fit a faulty theory.

The data obtained from a "fly by" of Venus proved that from time to
time in its history, the molten core of Venus heats, the geological
shape of the planet is altered by volcanic activity then the planet
cools and appears dormant for a long period. The earth's landscapes
show many evidences of extensive volcanic and seismic activity in the
past and the potential for the same in the present. One explanation
for the disappearance of the dinosaurs is the Genesisflood; Another is
the catastrophic crash of an asteroid into the Gulf of Mexico and the
Yucatan. Both are examples of catastrophic events in earth's history,
as is the Great Meteor Crater in Arizona. In the face of existing
proof, to deny catastrophism as a significant force that shapes the
planets of the universe is intellectually akin to hiding one's head in
the sand.

Old fossils?

The evidence seems to indicate that the fossil record was left as a
result of and as proof of the Genesisflood. The Cambrian explosion of
fossils, left by the Biblical flood, reveals that many species that
were suddenly buried in silt - the result of a great flood. What the
fossil record does not show is any indication or proof of
cross-species evolution - man from ape or from any other species.

Members of the Creation Research Institute in California (with Ph.Ds
in mathematics, chemistry, physics, geology, botany, meteorology and
other fields) provided a scientifically sound theory supporting the
Great Flood. The theory and evidence includes the collapse of a water
canopy, suspended in the atmosphere, along with the opening of a great
rift on the ocean floor. From the rift, the subterranean water under
the earth spewed forth high into the sky and fell back to the earth as
torrential rain. The geological forces that opened up the ocean floor
rift caused the land masses to be pushed away from it. The result was
the post-flood geology that we see today - an ocean floor rift and
trenches that surround the globe, mountainous, flat and in-between
land masses surrounded by deep ocean trenches that were eroded away
when the water gushed out from the rift.
Would not the entire earth have been a pre-flood garden in such a
moist, temperate, oxygen-rich climate provided by an atmospheric water
canopy or, at the very least, an atmosphere that held close to the
earth much more moisture and oxygen than that of our present day? This
fact alone would account for longer life spans because of an ideal
climate, rich in oxygen. Many Christians, who are also scientists,
believe this theory and many do not. Another theory proposes that the
seven days of creation in Genesisare not 24 hour days but represent
eons of time in which all the spiritual, mathematical, physical,
chemical and geological manifestations of the universe occurred. There
are Christians who believe the evidence supports a young earth and
others who believe it supports a much older one. Information and
photographs gathered from the Hubble Telescope is used to support a
very old earth and an even older universe with galaxies requiring
hundreds of millions of years of time for the light from them to reach
us. The Gap theory is the belief that there was a fallen, pre-Adamic
race that was destroyed along with an earlier incarnation of the
earth. Some believe that the Bible supports this theory and other do
not. Their arguments are based on the translation of words in the
early verses of the biblical book of Genesis, chapter 1. Again, the
evidence seems to support a young earth. Any other conclusion raises
disturbing questions. How could God have created plants and vegetation
on the third day and not have created the sun until the fourth day?
Erosion rates, the amount of dust on the moon's surface, language
development and archaeological finds all support a young earth which
fits into the 7000 years plan of God for the redemption and salvation
of the elect saints of God and the judgment and destruction of the
evil one and those who choose to follow along with the evil world
system.

The change in temperature and climate from pre-flood to post-flood
conditions means that some methods used to date the earth, fossils and
other artifacts may be inadequate. Radioactive dating methods, which
determine age by measuring amounts of residual radiation, can show
that many objects proposed to be millions of years old are merely a
few thousand years old. Some say that erosion would have long since
worn down the mountains if the earth were millions of years old. But,
the great flood would have reshaped the earth from its pre-flood
state. Since there is absolutely no proof of cross-species evolution,
which would be required for man to have evolved from apes, and since
there is evidence of "scientists" altering facts and manufacturing
evidence concerning "discoveries" in order to make them fit the theory
of evolution, there is no valid argument supporting man's evolution
from lower forms of life.

To accept Darwinism (the theory of evolution) as the foundation for
explaining the universe, you must deny the facts and force them (and
the truth) to fit into the theory. As this violates all principles of
the scientific method and objectivity, nothing could be less
scientific.

To be an atheist is the ultimate contradiction. It is to assert a
universal negative. Atheism is illogical.

To say there is no God is to presume omniscience or that we know all
about the universe and what is happening in every corner of it.

To claim that there is no God is to assert that we have the powers of
God. If there is no God, we cannot have the powers of God. The very
definition of God is of an infinite, spiritual being. We would have to
be infinite to prove the existence or non-existence of the infinite.
But we are not infinite. We are finite human beings. We cannot know
all there is to know. God may be where we cannot see or hear or
perceive with our senses - to know God is to be spiritually alive.
Once we know God through our spirit, then we can truly begin to
recognize his presence in other ways. Atheism presupposes that we have
the omnipresence to know that God does not exist. We cannot know for
certain that God does not exist. There is much evidence that God does
exist. Seek Him honestly and earnestly with all your being . . .
spirit, soul, mind and body . . . and you will find Him.

Some who do not believe in God feel contempt towards Christians. They
may see people of faith who follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as
foolish, uneducated and even mentally disturbed. They base their
attitudes on faith, which they deny is faith. Their faith is a world
view; it's a belief system supposing that only what science can prove
and verify is worthy of belief. But, there is no valid scientific
proof that the theory of evolution is correct when describing the
"descent of man." Actually, Darwin's theory is "full of holes" as the
discovery of the structure of DNA revealed. Continuing scientific
research increasingly supports intelligent design. Atheists worship
science and the achievements of mankind - it's a religion of humanism.
Their "religion" suggests that the created universe is god or has
"god-like" qualities in it such that it created and sustains itself
without divine or any other intervention. To the person who has been
touched by the Holy Spirit of God, the humanistic/atheistic view
appears uneducated and unenlightened because of the absence of
knowledge of the ways of God in it. The arguments in favor of their
world view are weak and based on personal ego and desire, subjective
feeling and a lack of hard data to support them.

If we acknowledge that there is a God and read His Ten Commandments,
we find that we have broken God's law at some time in our lives. In
other words, we have sinned against God and He requires a holy
sacrifice for sin. That sacrifice was provided by Jesus Christ in His
substitutionary death on the cross. He died for us so that we would
not have to pay the penalty for our sin. Through faith in Jesus, we
are transformed, in God's time and way, into what He would have us to
be.
