If you use Firefox, then you don't need Google bar. If you don't, try using
Firefox :)

I do use Firefox. The new app searches your computer hard drive (like Word,
Excel, Ppt files) AND the internet.

I've been using Copernic Desktop Search for a while, which does the same
thing and supports more file formats. I also don't have to worry about
them sending data to Google.

it never ceases to amaze me how people want to turn their web browser
into a more than what it is for...it's a WEB BROWSER, people...please
let it be just that...

if you make it do more, it turns into IE-esque bloat!

firefox is great because it is simple, and has nothing extra built
in...you add all that extra stuff, it gets to be as bad as IE
