Since I've trashed Andy in this cyberspace in the past, I might
as well continue. (At least it encourages him to read the newsgroup...)
As for the law student thing, who can blame him? Looking out on
that bleak landscape of job prospects, wouldn't you really rather
be a lawyer?
As for his writing, that last column bugged me by the fact that
he appeared to equate voting Democratic with not being jaded and cynical
(or somthing like that). He and Spam-boy Bmoronson ought to see that
the Democratic Party is just as lame as the Republican, only without
the money.
This country will only be saved by the emergence of a
Populist third party that is not run by Ross Perot. Then those
Democrats can get off their knees, wipe their mouths, pull their
Anne Richards bumper stickers off, and do some work other than
handing out free goodies to whoever screams the loudest.

As far as the Democratic Party's future, there are several people
around here who think Clinton will be re-elected (I may not be
one of them but that's not the point). As for the Ann Richards
bumper stickers, a bumper sticker is a statement and those people
have the right to express themselves in the same manner that
underqualified, undersexed, stuck in a lower middle class career
path white males have the right to form men's support groups like
last year's MEN effort and MUFF. Is this a great country or what?

Excuse me, what I meant to type was Beamoronson...

I think its great that people are free to have bumper stickers with
the name of a defeated, frito-eating politician with a bad hairdo on
their cars.
As for the men's support group issue, while some members may
reflect your belief about ALL members, there are a number of
fine, outstanding citizens among our ranks.

And Willy Pat agrees with the Vice-President, Steve Eichenauer.

I'm not taking off my Ann Richards sticker 'til she's in the White
House. I'm going to be like all the bitter Republicans driving
around with their "Annoy the Media, Reelect Bush," "The only time you
take away my gun is when you pry my cold dead hand from it," and
"Ditto Rush" stickers. I know the pendelum will swing back to the
way of the Democrats and I don't want to go to all the hassle of
scraping the sticky stuff off of my bumper, when I could keep the
sticker there. Of course, I could replace my Ann sticker with an
"I miss Ann already" bumper sticker, but that would be mean. And for
everyone's information, she's Dorito eating, not Frito eating. And
she'll always be my governor, and not that piece of shit daddy's boy.
Love and free ASA condoms,

Corene,
Who are the ASA condoms? Are they being held in some third world
prison by some ruthless dictator? If they are, I think they should
be freed too.

I think a much more positivie spin on this issue would be that I
would prefer to be called, and I assume Mr. Bowman would as well,
a "M.O.E." than a damn OJ-lovin'-money-grubbin'-lawyer.
Unless you've got solid GOP connections like Spam-Boy-I-like-the-
party-in-power-Bjornson.

Bjornson's pollster buddies have informed him that although the
DLC is a wonderful place to take cover from the fire and brimstone
bashing of the right-wing ofthe GOP, his only REAL shot at elected
office is to jump off the deep end and catch a ride on the Newt-train.
Bjornson's leanings have always been rightist (I note a particularly
disgusting incident where he cornered Charlie Walker and told him
that he was his idol and that he'd wanted to lobby since he was 8).
Yes, its true, Bjornson is a right-wing lackey... don't let him tell
you otherwise.
