A big congrats to the Second Years for a fantastic and hilarious
1995 Follies. I hope the First Year class can live up to your
legacy. It will be hard to forget Coifman as Dean Cope and Steven
Dean; Erik Olson as Spelman; Borja as Ito and Pat Wong;
Bev Paul as Troutman and so much more... What a great production!

I think, though, that we should give Spellman a break --- especially
when his wife is in the audience.

I don't know the history of the incidents, but really the guy's wife
was there.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the follies immensely - the faculty, though,
should probably abstain from attending.

Thank you very much, you're too kind. You'll all be glad to know
that I've decided to make impersonating Judge Ito my full time
profession for the duration of the trial. After weighing several
offers including Esther's Follies, I have decided to sign on with
the Dancing Itos that I'm sure you've seen on the Tonight Show.
Because of this, I will not be meeting any PR deadlines for the
forseeable future. If anyone wants my research on telecommunications
and the OJ trial, please let me know.

Howdy Buck,

I seriously doubt Spelman was surprised that there was a skit about
him in the Follies. I heard that he said, "At least I walked off the
stage with two women." I think the cast of Follies was more surprised
by the appearance of the faculty. Last year, Caren Troutman was
the only staff/faculty member to attend the show.

p.s. It wasn't Spelman's wife, it was his girlfriend. She's an LBJ
grad so I'm sure she knew what kind of stuff gets put on at Follies.

Rob-

I was told that was Spellman's wife. I agree, if its grilfriend
and she's from LBJ they had to know what was coming.

Was Dean Cope there? I thought I saw her and was wondering if she had
attended before this year.

Adios to you all; I hope that this group remains small and interesting
next year despite my bitchings for postings here over e-mail junk.

Anyway, I enjoyed the dialogue and wish all 2nd years good luck.

I predict spam boy will return from his internship as GOPAC director
of communications to run the Travis County GOP. Stay tuned.
