I noticed our final exam grades have been posted, I was wondering what
the averages/distributions were?

The final exam average was 59.6 with a STD of 21.23. I calculated
this average without the zeros from missing people, so if you compare
it to past average scores, subtract about 5 points.

Hi David,

Will you input our individual final averages in egradebook (similar to
the Midpoint and Pre-Final averages)? What about the grade cutoffs?

Thanks,
Khoi

The grade breakdown is on the syllabus, so you can already hand
calculate your final average. Also, grade cutoffs are determined by
the professor if I'm not mistaken, so David would only be able to give
us an estimate (as he has done in the past). In any case, I can't
imagine it will be too long until final grades are posted.

Good luck.

Yea, I know the breakdown is on the syllabus. I just want to compare
what I've already calculated to David's calculation to double check.

Alright. I uploaded your averages as I see them. If you notice a
discrepancy let me know.

Is the extra credit included in that average?

Hi David,

Can you please let us know the final class average, so that we can compare with the personal averages ?

Does anyone else have anything besides a "yes" under the comments for the final grade? Or does that mean: "yes, a comment exists"? Just making sure.

Thanks,
Joaquin

It means "yes, a comment exists". It says:

"Grades will be visible via the Registrar on Wednesday. "
