Hi Students,

I haven't run across any more extra credit ideas that struck me as
gold. I'd still like to offer one more. If you have an idea for a
talk happening this week that you think would be of value to students,
feel free to send me a note on it.

It looks like there is only one talk left and it is this Friday.

"Talk Abstract:
This talk describes a spectrum of three models of
teleoperation for remote presence applications, such as
emergency response, law enforcement, and military operations
in urban terrain, where humans use a robot to obtain
real-time perception at a distance. These enterprises are
treated as joint cognitive systems and examined in terms of
roles, information flow, and team processes..."

Sounds good to me...

No, I didn't.

There have been more hardware related talks past semesters, but due to
one of the faculty members moving back into industry, I haven't seen
as much that I thought would suit you all well. When I pick a talk, I
want it to be a good use of yalls' time. This is even more important
near the end of the semester, when ya'll are already being pulled in
lots of directions.
