Hi all,

I work with ros fuerte on an Ubuntu 12.04.

I have tried to get data from my applanix POS LV v5 with the ros applanix package and no messages are published.

I have modified the applanix.h in order to have the right IP address. After building the node, I have launched it with rosrun. Then the node connects to the applanix without errors and there is no warning for the alignment. Also, I didn't receive the log "INITIAL DATA".

When I launch tcpdump in the same time of the node, I saw UDP packets from the port 5600 but nothing from the port 5602.

Just to let you know, I configured the applanix with software provided by applanix and I had data in this software. Also, I put the applanix in navigation mode.

Do I miss something ?

Our driver has only been tested with the POS-LV device on the ART
autonomous vehicle.

Instead, I recommend that you use the new applanix_driver stack,
developed by Clearpath Robotics working with the Applanix engineers.
It is a more general and complete implementation and will probably
support a wider range of device models. It also supports the
now-standard sensor_msgs/NavSatFix message.
