Transportation Planner I/II, NCTOG, North Texas

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking
qualified applicants for the position of Transportation Planner I/II
in our Goods Movement Planning Team. The NCTCOG does sponsor
international students. Goods Movement – Support economic development,
transportation safety and air quality initiatives related to the
movement of goods. Conduct system planning as it relates to freight
delivery in the region. Assist in the development of a freight rail
solution to Tower 55, the nation’s most congested freight railroad
bottleneck. Freight rail and truck corridor planning including
crossing safety and hazardous materials routing are key activities.
Planning knowledge/experience with interest in logistics desired.
Requirements: Supply Chain or Project Management/Logistics Majors.
August or December, 2008 Graduates – BS or MS. Interested applicants
