Hey guys,

Dr. Matthew Brown has agreed to be our adviser and i just got his
signatures on paper. Thanks to Nathan for helping us move forward!

I need to tweak the constitution, since some things have changed from
last semester. That will take me about 10 minutes, so it's not a
major set-back.

A lot of people who we had signed up as officers have not shown up,
this semester. I'll do my best to contact them and see if I can get
them to follow through. If we can get their signatures but they are
not interested, we can vote to change, once the club is running.
Otherwise, we will need to fill those positions, beforehand.

The positions in question are Secretary - responsible for keeping
record of meetings, promoting for the club, scheduling, and keeping
contact with the president. and safety officer - required to be
certified in CPR, first aid, and AED. responsible for the safety of
the club and maintaining the first aid supplies.

If you are interested in one or both of these positions, let me know
ASAP.

Finally, it's time to cook up some fliers and distribute them on
campus. We always manage to pull in 3 or 4 new people, sometimes
more, every time we put out fliers. This semester has started off
very slowly and not many people are showing up, so we need to get some
exposure. Having practice outside has been very helpful, in that
respect.

That's pretty much it, guys. Thanks for your help and here's looking
forward to a great first semester as a sponsored club.
