Greetings Alum,

Indian Students Association UTDallas is excited to announce the Global Career Day taking place on January 31, 2019. At this career fair, your company will have the opportunity to connect with talented international students looking for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT) opportunities.

ISA has been keen on optimizing its relations with the Indian Alumni Network(IAN) but hasn't been able to do that till now. But, with this global career day, we hope to accomplish a healthy and active relationship with the IAN and we would love to have you on board with us for this great opportunity to know students just like you who will do great in the American corporate world. With this collaboration, we foresee a lifelong relationship between ISA and IAN, and you being a member of IAN will always be given the advantage and priority of all the resources we can offer when it comes to recruiting new talent.

Our students come to the event looking for after-graduation employment opportunities (OPT), co-op education and internship opportunities (CPT), as well as general career information. With an increasingly global marketplace, this event will allow you to gain access to diverse students with a global competency that can help you meet your future hiring needs. This fair will also provide you with an opportunity to gain visibility for your organization and build a partnership with our campus.

Format of the event:
  • International student career expo - 10am to 3pm
  • Meet & Greet(with Deans, professors and student leaders) - 4pm to 6pm

To be eligible for this event, your company must:
  • Accept CPT/OPT Candidates

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is a structured educational program which combines classroom learning with productive work experience in a field related to a student's academic program.
