Since we had two members pay their dues with Google Checkout and it
seems to be working fine, I thought this would be a good time to get
this started.

Joslyn, what did you think of your dues paying experience? Any reason
this would not be a good way to process lunch orders?

I would like to meet with anyone interested in helping with this
committee on Thursday during lunch in the SLK lounge.

I setup a demo page to show you what lunch orders might look like. It
is live, so you can click on the links to see what an order is like,
but please do not submit an order yet or your credit card will be
charged. :)

An order would follow this sort of process
1) Customer clicks on chosen item
2) Customer logs in with Google Account, or creates one on the spot
3) Credit card is process and charged
4) Order Collection
- Orders could be e-mailed directly to the provider for the day,
or
- Someone could collect them and call them in at 11:00
5) Orders are prepared
6) Order Delivery or pickup depending on arrangements
7) Customer pickup at designated location

To do:
1) Investigate the legal ramifications (sales tax, vendor licensing,
non-profit status, etc.)
2) Discuss details with Dean Tierny (does anyone have Chris' e-mail
address)
3) Contact potential vendors
4) Sign up food vendors
5) Develop marketing plan (signs, e-mails, coupons, etc.)

Best regards,
Bryan
