Preliminary discussions with local vendors have been well received. We
would like to take this survey data to Dean Tierney and use it to
predict demand.
Thanks for your help!
Someone needs to take this information to Dean Tierney and get
approval to proceed. Volunteers anyone?
Comments:
1. how about a la cart items like yogurt.
2. I've been a night student for 3 years, day for the past year. Even
as a day student I've NEVER seen the cart open for lunch. If you're
going to make provisions for day students, don't leave the evening
people out. They're probably more likely to buy from a food vendor
becuase they're often coming straight from work and will be on campus
until 9:30 without having much time to leave to get dinner. Not to
mention the fact that evening students have more money to spend as
they work. Don't leave them out.
3. Keep the prices low so students can afford the food and so that
it's worthwhile to purchase the food on campus rather than go off
campus to get it cheaper.
4. vegetarian, vegan and nurtrition rich foods at an affordable
price. I would also be able to use a credit card. The Mexican cart was
way too limiting in its selections and rather pricy for what you got.
Also, if you are working on expanding options, maybe you could work on
the actual eating area. It is rather drab with not enough seats and
tables. Thanks for your work!
5. A credit card machine would be great because few students carry or
pay with cash.
