In my trixbox-based asterisk installation, any call I receive can be
blind transferred to another extension by pressing # (then I get the
voice prompt "Transfer") and dialing an extension. This doesn't work
in an outbound call. Is there a configuration I can copy from an
inbound call context to another configuration file that would enable
this?
Thanx
Jeremy

You need to look at the 't' and 'T' options to the Dial() application.
These control whether the 'caller' or 'callee' can transfer the call.
You can also adjust the transfer sequence by modifying features.conf.

Thanks, Jared, for the help. For others out there using Trixbox or
another installation that includes AMP (Asterisk Management Portal)
you can find the dial options on the FreePBX "General Settings" page.
The default for my installation for "Asterisk Outbound Dial command
options:" was just an "r", but after changing it to "Tr" I can now
blind transfer a call I have placed from inside the system.
