Hey all, I have a Sangoma A104D that I am not using and would like to sell. If anyone is interested Please contact me. I paid just under $2000 for it. I would let it go for an even $1000. It has only been used for about 1 month in production. It was in a server at a data center. so it has been living in a pristine environment. So it is in excellent condition.  Let me know.

Christopher,

Can you let me know when you bought the card? I may be able to take it off your hands. Does it have the latest 33 version of firmware?

it is version 2.1 I have had it for about 3 months now. Got it at the beginning of the year.

At least 2.1 is what is stamped on the card.

Chris,

Can you also let me know if your A104D board has the echo cancellation in it? or is it the model without it?

AFAIK, the A104D card has echo cancellation and the A104 does not. An
A104DM card may or may not have it.

Also, there are four hardware revs of the A104D card, with different
chipsets and firmware versions for each, and all requiring a different
minimum driver version. Anything manufactured after Oct 2006 uses the
shark chipset and different firmware, but shows up in the hwprobe as the
same card. Fun.

Here is a good page about the firmware, but make sure to search on all
the A104 parts and read them.

http://wiki.sangoma.com/sangoma-hardware

And here is a good page about the different revs of the hardware and
what firmware and drives they need.

http://wiki.sangoma.com/sangoma-hardware-matrix

Basically, you need to check the SKU numbers as listed in the matrix to
tell which rev and which firmware to have. I happen to be running an
A104D card that is older than Oct 2006, which uses firmware v26 as the
latest and runs quite well.

With that do you know what the SKU is for this particular card? Thanks for the matrix site, I have been to the sangoma site before, but hadn't seen the matrix page. I currently use a A104D in one of my sites and runs on firmware V33.

I can drive home at lunch and grab the card. Before I do that, how serious are you about it? Its 60 miles round trip.

Take your time, don't make a trip just for that. If it is one of the newer cards, then I am working on approvals right now for it. Should know soon.

Christopher,

I just received approval to buy the card depending on whether or not the card can hold the V33 firmware or not. I suspect if you bought it within the last couple of months then it should have V33 firmware, but I need to have that validated. Also, If we do confirm the firmware, how do you want to move forward with us purchasing the card from you and have a chance to test the card to make sure it is not DOA.

Regarding the purchase... there will have to be some level of trust on both our parts. How long would you want to test it? I can hold a check for a day or two, or we can work something else out. I am flexible. I will get the info for you later on... check your mail later today and I will post what I find on the card.

I have more T1 cards that have come available. Anyone interested in a
Sangoma A104D? Based on supply and demand, I am letting this one go for
$500. Its about 6 months old and in fine working condition. Has been in
a sterile data center environment its whole life.

Let me know
