Looking for some advice on creating a home PBX using asterisk.
Specifically, looking for suggestions on telephony cards. Since this
is just for fun, I need to keep the cost at a minimum. I have one
phone line coming into the house and a dozen home extensions. I'm
hoping to start out with at least 3 phones in the house addressable.

What are you wanting to do with the pbx... that will determine what kind
of cards you will want.
If you are simply trying to send to analog, you can get fxs/fxo cards
for prett cheap on ebay.

I am clearing out a call center full of hardware. I have quite a few
linksys spa 942 phones for sale as well as some t1 cards. If anyone is
interested, please contact me. I paid about $150 for each of the phones,
I would like to get about $75 a piece for them. Anyone taking large
numbers of them, I would reduce the price.

I have sangoma A104D cards that I will sell for $500

Update. I am dropping my asking price to $50 per phone. I also have a
handful of Polycom Soundpoint IP 301s I would let those go for $40 a piece.

Are these the new MAXIM-based a104d cards (since abt 6-2007) or the
older?
