Today Professor Meiners announced (after a democratic vote) that the
midterm would be next Saturday, February 2nd. It will cover all the
topics from the lectures up until that point. It will be administered
during the second half of the class, so you can leave a little early
if you get finished early. It will be multiple choice, open notes/
book/everything. If you have an electronic book, you can use that
even.
The World is flat will be only on the final exam.
Additionally, he mentioned that the lectutes will not follow the
book. You will just have to pick out from the book the material you
would like to enchance his lectures with.
