Description: Software-defined
storage is an area of IT seeing huge interest and uptake. One of the
stars in the software-defined storage space is GlusterFS. GlusterFS is a
distributed scale-out filesystem that runs on commodity hardware. In
this session, Dax Kelson will provide an architectural overview of
GlusterFS, talk about the development roadmap, and guide attendees in a
lab exercise where each person will build their own 4-node GlusterFS
Cluster.
