As mentioned at the last meeting, there is an alternative languages
group that meets semi-monthly. The next meeting is Wednesday of next
week at 7pm in Lehi.

If you are interested, sign up for the mailing list mentioned on the
website (http://altlang.fugue88.ws/). Another reminder will be sent to
the list with time & place, but if you miss it you can always check the
archives.

Turns out our December presenter can't make it. I'm inclined to call the
meeting off because I don't have time in the next few days to coordinate a
new agenda. If someone wants to step up and put something together quickly,
please reply-to-all and let the group know immediately. If not, have some
happy holidays and we'll see you back in January.

i'll do it if you guys want. using python to script the world at will.
in other words i'll show all kinds of examples of how i use python as
a quick-fix language, and we can make it somewhat of a BoF, with
everyone sharing their quick-fix practices. this would be more just
for fun than for learning something you can use at work, nice holiday
style. :) ...or not, if you guys don't want to have a meeting.

Thanks for the offer, Christian. I think we'll take you up on that later on
with the "cool python tricks" presentation ideas.

Have a happy holiday everyone. See you in January.

O'Reilly just sent some books to me. I *think* they are ours to keep so we
should have some raffle prizes to give away at the next meeting.
