Hi all,

I'll cut to the chase and state that I have too many things going on to keep up on the Utah Lotus Club and, in particular, the web site.  The domain - utahlotusclub.com - is up for renewal soon and I cannot continue to renew and host it.

Is anyone interested and willing to take over the domain and hosting the web site?  Otherwise, I will let it expire next month.

Feel free to email me back to discuss,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I wouldn't mind taking over from here for us.  I own a design & marketing firm and one of the areas we focus on is web development so I have all the resources needed to design, develop and support the website.  In addition I wouldn't mind taking the helm and begin planning cruises and events for our small but nimble group.  If anyone else would like to step in just say the word.  I'm not looking to be a President or Leader of anything as my cup has runneth over in that area... I just want us to have a few fun days and events throughout the 2012 driving season.  What say ye?

That sounds excellent to me!  If there aren't any objections, I'd be happy to send you the assets we have (if you even want them) and transfer the domain control to you.  FYI, the current registrar is GoDaddy.

Hi Jeff,

Yes, I would prefer to have all the assets just so that I have them If I should need them.  I especially would like any collection of Local Lotus photos you might have such as the Elan doing the mini autocross at Liberty Park during the British Field Days.

My plan will be to have a new site with full functionality up by March including a calendar of events. I will also begin to plan out some simple cruises and connections with other clubs and some of the events they usually like to do.  I'm really hoping to make 2012 a fun season for us all.

Excellent Rich!  Do you have anytime one evening where we might be able to get together and hammer out some ideas and start to scope out some events, drives, show participation.  I know of 2-3 other Lotus owners locally who are not aware that we are building a local club but that would likely love to participate in one.

Groovy - I'll get you the assets as soon as I get a chance.  Then we can also get the domain transfer going along as well.

It’ll have to be next week sometime as I’m currently dying from a cold/virus of some sort.  Thursday evenings work well for me as my spouse works late.
